What happen to my baby?

I have been dealing with some test of wills over the past few weeks and it is hard. All i can think about when Bailey gets mad and throws a fit is what happen to my baby. You can't help but think to yourself they grow up way to fast.

When they are 6 weeks old you want them to sleep throw the night and not nap all day. When they are 18 months old you think what happen to that second nap. I love my toddler but i also miss my baby.

I could take my baby to a restaurant or Target without WWIII because of something like eating Blue, yellow and green wax. I could take my baby to the mall without the passenger in the stroller trying to jump out on me. But i will say my toddler is loving and funny with a lot of spunk. It will be a few years until we can take Mo Mo as she calls herself now to Mortens but it will happen.

All and all i miss my baby but my toddler is a star.

drinking at 11:30 in the A.M.

I have had a long not so hot week at work. So today at 11:30 I thought to myself i would like to have a can of Sparkling Wine from down under so i did. I did the classy thing and drank it out of a straw while watching the past 2 weeks of the view (i love Elisabeth Hasselbeck).

Some people may think this is a little on the trashy side and i say you are wrong!

1. caned wine is better for the environment
2. the View helps me learn about all different peoples "view"of our world
3.look at the awards my wine has won ( i like the
green can)
4. I ate cucumber tea sandwiches with my
sparkling wine, that alone is classy.

all and all i push you all to try the caned sparkling wine it will change your life.

How to look sexy and sit on the pot?

I don't know what the title has to do with this post but i thought it was funny. i can only say for me personally people using the bathroom is not sexy. I know some people have some strange things they dig but come on, this should not one. The thought alone makes me want to shower until tuesday.

I more or less put this picture up because every time i go to the bathroom so dose Bailey. It would be nice to go alone some time and not have a small person trying to put toilet paper in the pot while I'm on it. This whole potty training thing is going to kill me i want to pee without help. Also i am over cleaning out the Bailey potty. They need to sell a self cleaning little person potty.

Death to the dust buster

About every two weeks Brian gets on an out of control cleaning kick. So we clean our house from top to bottom and the entire time he tells me how good it will make me feel (I never feel any different at the end). But today Brian hit a new low and in the end i felt some what irritated with him.

He gave me the dust buster and asked me to get the gaps between the rocks on the fireplace. I thought he was joking but he was not one bit. So i spent 2hr dust busting the rocks that make up our fireplace. I have never felt like i was wasting so much time in my life. When i felt the job was done Brian came to "check" my work. He thought i should get a rag and tooth brush to wipe it down. I then started to laugh but still did it for Brian. (by the way we keep a clean house all the time so nothing is dirty)

When i got done with my job Brian came and asked me how i felt. I looked at him and said i feel like i just used a dust buster on rocks then cleaned them with a tooth brush. He then said so you feel good! I may have to brake the dust buster and the small tools that come with it.

For the love of soup

I am in morning today because Campbells has discontinued my favorite flavor of soup in hand soup Potato. At only 100 calories it was so filling and warmed my sole. I first became a fan in 2004 just 2 weeks after it was released. It walked me throw the last 6 years with love and will be so missed.

Today i have spent the better part of an hr calling around so i can buy what is left in stores. I have only found 2. It is truly a sad day at the Monette's and a sad day for potato loving Americans.

Holy Cow

Some times i feel the need to drop the F-bomb. I know i can't in front of my kid so these are a list of some of the faux bad words I like to use..........

holy Cow
Cheese and Rice
Fricken
What the F (this one is Brian's)
Donkey (like you are acting like a donkey)

I assume some of my friends have better faux bad words and i would love to know them because i can only say you are such a donkey so often. Also maybe some more hip ways to blow off verbal steam.

Crocodile Rock

For the past few weeks i have been running a lot in hope of being abel to run a half marathon in may. I not only want to finish i want to get a good time so i have been studying the way to get to that point. So every day i jump on the treadmill to run and rock out. I have been listening to a lot of Elton John and digging the way it keeps me moving. But to every thing you must have a down side, my down side is the Elton dreams. I can only say about these dreams that if i continue to have them i am going into therapy. On the up side in my dreams Elton has given me some fashion tips.

Ash wednesday with my buddy

As the good catholic women i try to be i went to get my ashes today and brought along miss Bailey Mo. I don't have a picture of Bailey at church because she did not feel like being photographed today, and i have to respect her wish in this case. It is not much of a story but when Father went to put the ash on her head she thought he was going to give her a high five. So she put her hand up and started to yell five. Father Paul was nice enough to give her five after he ashed her. The best part of this was the kids that went after Bailey all wanted a high five. Way to go B-Mo you started a new trend maybe they will start to give high fives after you take communion.

The Time it takes to look like this...........

Over the past few months Brian has been giving me a hard time about how long it takes me to get ready for bed. So I made him try out my regiment. So he could see how much work women have to put in to stay looking young and fresh. I will list out the 15 steps and why you have to do the steps in this order and then you guess his reaction.

1. Brush your teeth
(this must go first because some times you can get tooth paste on your face)
2. Floss
( if you don't do it every day it's bad for your teeth)
3. Wash your face with night time wash
4. use some type of exfoliant
(helps your skin look bright, men should all use one)
5. Do an extra skin rinse with warm then cold water
(My facial laddie said to do it and i do)
6. Use a toner if you need one
(I use a rose water and love the results)
7. Use a prescription wrinkle remover around the mouth and eyes
( it takes work to look young)
8. eye cream
(keep skin around eyes looking good)
9. All over Night time face cream
( night and day face cream is so important)
10. Body lotion
11. hand cream
( hands give away your age)
12. Clean your ears
13. Mouth wash
( I want my mouth as clean as i can get it at night)
14. skin serum
15. 8oz of water
( you can always use more water)

After all this Brian wanted to know 2 things..................
1. what is the price of this regiment.
2. do I look any younger

In the end he only did the night time regiment once. I think after living 30 min of my day he learned to respect the work i put into my self preservation at night.

The View i see most

Today is the first day i was witness to the fact that my daughter has a will as strong as a Hurricane. I asked her if she could pleas sit down so i could dress her and she took off. I chased her around the house for 20 min. Once i got her she fought me off and took off once again. I think i will be seeing this view of her for the next few years.
I will say i am still surprised of how fast she can run at 17 month. Maybe Bailey will be a track star, or just have a better chance when she runs from the cops in college.
